Contact Your Minneapolis City Council Member
If you live in Minneapolis, encourage your politicians to pass important changes to the existing city code that would allow only animal-free circuses to perform in Minneapolis. YOU must let them know this issue is vital. If they get more correspondence from the opposition, they may not pass the ordinance. If you’ve not yet contacted the City Council- now is the time!! If you have already contacted them, they need to hear from you again- especially now.

Hello Council Member/Mayor___________. My name is ________, and I live in ward___in Minneapolis. I am calling you to urge you to support the Animal Protection Amendment, which will prohibit wild animal circuses from performing in Mpls. This issue is important to me, and I will be watching it closely with the next election in mind. Please vote ‘yes’ to end the public safety risks and cruelty in wild animal circuses.
