The Reverend Dr. Kendyl Gibbons, Senior Minister,First Unitarian Society of Minneapolis

Circus Reform Yes is delighted to have Dr. Kendyl Gibbons, Senior Minister at the First Unitarian Society of Minneapolis, as a new supporter! On June 26th, 2007, the Reverend Dr. Kendyl Gibbons signed CRY’s Resolution in Support of Animal Free Circuses. She accompanied the signed resolution with a powerfully eloquent letter in which she stated,

“We have come to understand that animals being made to fight and injure each other for entertainment is a form of abuse and immoral mistreatment which should not be allowed in a civilized society. Now it is time also to eliminate the suffering of wild creatures confined and made to behave unnaturally in circuses.”

Circus Reform Yes thanks Dr. Gibbons and her parishioners for their support of the initiative to prohibit wild animal circuses in Minneapolis.
