A Notable Endorsement

Circus Reform Yes is thrilled to announce we have yet another prominent supporter to add to our growing list of endorsements!

On August 8, 2007, CRY received a letter from the Office of the Mayor for the City of Albuquerque, NM, stating his wholehearted support of our efforts to prohibit wild animal circuses in Minneapolis.

Albuquerque has prohibited wild animal circuses for many years, and remains in 1st Place for the Forbes: Best Places for Business and Careers, and in 3rd Place for Kiplingers: Smart Places to Live. Mayor Martin J. Chavez stated his hope that Minneapolis will prohibit animal circuses, and stated, “It’s the right thing to do, and it defines who we are.”
